Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the Exile Bot Discord bot ("the Bot") or the Exile Bot web dashboard ("the Dashboard"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, you must not use the Service. These Terms apply to all users, including Discord server owners, server moderators, and regular members who interact with the Bot.

2. Description of Service

Exile Bot is a Discord bot and accompanying web dashboard built for Idle Herores communities. The Service includes game calculators, AI-powered advice commands, automated giveaway tools, a server levelling system, and administrative tools for server owners. Certain commands ("premium commands") require the server to hold a credit balance. Free commands are always available at no cost.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years of age (or the minimum age of digital consent in your jurisdiction, whichever is higher) to use the Service. By using the Service, you represent that you meet this requirement. The Dashboard is accessible only to Discord users who hold a Manage Server or Administrator permission in a server where the Bot is present.

4. Credits and Payments

Credits are purchased by Discord server owners or administrators on behalf of their server. Credits belong to the server, not to any individual Discord user. When a premium command is executed, credits are deducted from the invoking server balance.

All credit purchases are final. Credits are non-refundable except where required by applicable law. Credits have no cash value and cannot be transferred between servers. Unused credits expire according to the expiry policy published on the Pricing page.

Payment verification is processed automatically. You agree to provide accurate transaction information when submitting a payment. Fraudulent or disputed payments will result in credit reversal and may result in suspension.

5. Prohibited Conduct

You must not use the Service to violate Discord Terms of Service, automate abusive interactions with the Bot, attempt to reverse-engineer or scrape proprietary data, misrepresent payment information, harass or impersonate other users, or use AI commands to generate illegal or defamatory content. Violation of these rules may result in immediate suspension without refund.

6. Intellectual Property

The Exile Bot source code, dashboard design, and all associated content are the property of the platform owner. All rights reserved. Idle Heroes is a trademark of DHGames. Exile Bot is an independent community tool and is not affiliated with or endorsed by DHGames.

7. Suspension and Termination

The platform owner reserves the right to suspend or terminate access to the Service for any server or user at any time, with or without notice, for violation of these Terms, abuse of the Service, or conduct detrimental to the platform or its users. Server owners may remove the Bot from their server at any time. Removal does not entitle the server to a refund of remaining credits.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. THE PLATFORM OWNER DOES NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR FREE OF HARMFUL COMPONENTS. USE OF THE SERVICE IS AT YOUR OWN RISK.

9. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, THE PLATFORM OWNER SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE. In no event shall the platform owner total liability exceed the amount you paid for credits in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim.

10. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States, without regard to conflict of law principles. If any provision is found unenforceable, it shall be modified to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions continue in full force.

11. EU / GDPR Addendum

This section applies to users in the European Economic Area (EEA), the United Kingdom, and Switzerland. To the extent of any conflict, this addendum controls for EU Users.

Legal Basis for Processing: We process your Discord ID, username, and server membership to perform the contract (provide authentication and Dashboard access). We process XP, level, and server configuration data based on legitimate interests to operate bot features you have requested.

Your Rights Under Applicable Data Protection Law: right of access, right to rectification, right to erasure, right to restriction of processing, right to data portability, right to object to processing, and the right to lodge a complaint with your national supervisory authority.

To exercise any of these rights, contact us via the email on the Contact page. We will respond within 30 days. We do not transfer personal data outside the EEA without appropriate safeguards.

12. Changes to These Terms

The platform owner reserves the right to update these Terms at any time. The Last Updated date at the top of this page reflects when the Terms were last revised. Continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms. Material changes will be announced in the Discord support server.
